As part of the renewal of the Street Kitchen website, we delivered a comprehensive user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design project aimed at clearly defining content, functional, and UX-level development directions. The work began with an in-depth analysis of the existing site, complemented by stakeholder interviews and the creation of a structured problem map, identifying critical business and user-related pain points. The design process was supported by international and local best practice research to ensure that Street Kitchen’s digital presence aligns with current media market and content consumption trends.
Using analytics data and heatmap analyses, we gained an accurate understanding of visitor behavior, content consumption patterns, and factors influencing conversion. As part of the project—through the involvement of a subcontractor—advertising plans were also developed, closely aligned with the redesigned user journeys. We defined the key performance indicators (KPIs) used to measure project success, ensuring alignment between business objectives and UX improvements.
During the design phase, page-type–specific UX concepts were created, forming the basis for a well-structured sitemap and detailed functional specifications. At the visual level, the process concluded with final UI designs that provide a cohesive and highly scalable foundation for Street Kitchen’s renewed digital presence and its future developments.
